4FRNT Pique Skis

The 2011 4FRNT Pique is a true All-Mountain Ski.  Designed with 4FRNT's freeski style, the Pique has combines all the features of a modern freeskier with the performance characteristics of a World Cup race ski.  A metal laminate construction places a titanium topsheet over a lively wood core, a combination that lays trenches through turns and offers forgiveness when it's needed. The Pique's flat tail isn't a manufacturing error; some skis still actually come with a flat tail (if you prefer rail-to-rail feeling all the way through carving arcs more than skiing switch). A viciously-fast sintered base and tight turn radius might peel your eyelids back, so reach for your big-boy pants when you head out, buttercup. the Pique model took its turn under the 4FRNT design teams knife coming out the other side with a wider footprint, more forgiving construction and broader size range. The Pique is the ski for those looking to shred resort groomers till noon, trees till last chair, and powder all the way to the bar. The Pique is a creeper ski; it's surprisingly agile in tight trees but wide-open-stable in the back bowls.
